Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with me is spacious, relational, and deeply intentional. I offer 75-minute and longer sessions because meaningful work takes time. We are not rushing toward symptom reduction, we are working toward integration, clarity, and lasting change.

Much of what brings people into therapy is not just about what is happening now, but about early lived experiences that shaped how their nervous system learned to adapt. Patterns like perfectionism, over-functioning, emotional disconnection, people-pleasing, high achievement, anxiety, or relational conflict often began as intelligent adaptations. Adaptive ADHD and trauma related Autism traits are heavy to live with. At one time, all this protected you. Today, it all may feel exhausting or limiting.

Together, we gently explore how those early attachment wounds and relational experiences continue to influence your present life. This is not about blaming the past. It is about understanding it and allowing your inner system to update what no longer serves you.

EMDR & Memory Reprocessing

I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a core part of our work. EMDR allows the brain and nervous system to process experiences that feel stuck — not just cognitively, but emotionally and somatically. Rather than retelling your story over and over, we help your system metabolize it.

As old memories are reprocessed, present-day triggers often soften. Core beliefs shift. The nervous system begins to experience safety where there once was threat.

Attachment & Relational Healing

Many of our struggles are rooted in attachment; the early ways we learned to connect, protect, withdraw, or pursue closeness. In therapy, the relationship itself becomes part of the healing. We move at a pace that feels safe. We notice patterns as they arise in real time. We build new experiences of steadiness, attunement, and trust.

This is relational work, not performative work. You do not have to impress me here.

Nervous System & Somatic Work

Healing is not just cognitive, it is physiological. We pay attention to your nervous system responses: fight, flight, freeze, collapse, overdrive. Through somatic awareness, grounding practices, and nervous system regulation, we help your body experience safety in the present moment.

When the body feels safer, the mind follows.

Expressive & Integrative Approaches

For some, words are not enough. I may integrate expressive arts, imagery, sand tray processing, parts work, or reflective exercises to access deeper layers of experience. These approaches help bypass defenses and allow insight to emerge organically.

Creativity often opens doors that logic cannot.

Neurodivergence-Informed Therapy

If you are like me and identify as neurodivergent or are exploring that possibility, our work will honor how your brain is wired. We approach attention, sensory processing, masking, high sensitivity, dissociation and pattern recognition with respect rather than pathology. Many traits labeled as “problems” are actually strengths that were unsupported or misunderstood.

Therapy becomes a place to unmask safely, build regulation strategies that truly fit, and develop self-understanding without shame.

Individual therapy with me is not about fixing you. It is about understanding the adaptations that shaped you and creating new experiences of safety, agency, and connection.

This work is deep. It is steady. And it unfolds at a pace your system can sustain.

When you’re ready, we begin.
